We are a small independant not for profit animal rescue centre, based on the west edge of North Yorkshire and North Lancashire. We specialize in cats, but have close contacts with other organizations for dogs and small furries. Our aim is to rehome all the animals that come to us.

Blue Peter
Grace our 20p collector has done it again. She wrote to Blue Peter telling them about Bentham Pet Rescue and how she supports us by collecting 20p's. They have rewarded her with a letter and a Blue Peter Badge. Well Done Grace, and thankyou for your support.
Volunteer of the year 2013
Our 2013 volunteer of the year, Arthur Riley, hard at work on the new Penyghent Sanctuary. Arthur does lots of behind the scenes work repairing the sanctuary bulidings, fetching and carrying books and bric a brac to events, and even helping to feed and muck out the cats at Horton when required. His only reward, the occasional bottle of Whisky. Thanks Arthur
